Oh boy, where do I even start? You are constantly moving, you can't crawl yet but if you see something you want you will roll your happy butt over until you get to it, this also rings true while I am trying to change your diaper...not cool kid, not cool. You laugh all the time, half the time I feel like there may be something on my face because for the life of me I cannot figure out whats so funny. You especially love when I swing you by your ankles (don't crucify me for this people, he is tough and not only can he handle it, but he literally LOVES it) and when I walk slowly towards you saying "I'm gonna get ya!" You have tried carrots, bananas, avocados, and fudge-pops in your life time, you love all of them but the avocado, you're still on the fence about that green concoction. You can recognize a bottle, whether its yours, my water bottle, or Mimis beer bottle...you gotta reach for it! You haven't been weighed since your last appointment but you are AT LEAST 16 pounds. At a cookout this past weekend you were being compared to an 8 month old and you definitely are WAY ahead of your age. You go down incredibly easy for naps but every bedtime is a battle with you, I don't get it and I hope you grow out of it soon. You have spent most of this warm weather in just a diaper and I think you prefer it that way (secretly, so do I...less laundry!). You still have no teeth but you are constantly "chewing" on your fingers and drooling everywhere. The greatest achievement though is that you are starting to sit up. You can sit up for a few minutes with no assistance but you get tired or get excited and topple over, its only a matter of time before you are completely ready to do it. You poop twice a day, which as gross as this sounds, is a God send. I cannot tell you how many parents complain about constipation or there babies being in severe discomfort from being backed up, but nope...not you. You are as regular as they come. You still love bath time and just today you discovered the drain and laughed at it, again everything is hilarious. You are one remarkable five month old and I am so thrilled to be your Mama.
