Today during your bath (which I time perfectly right after your solid meal because kid, you are a complete mess) you discovered a new body part. Typically I wouldn't feel inclined to write a post about something so private but recently I took a human sexuality class and learned about body discovery, shaming, and its repercussions in an infant. I am so glad I did because I probably would have been that Mom that said "no, no! here, play with this." Instead I let you teach yourself which lasted approximately one whole minute and you were back to playing with your pirate duck. I love you little boy, and this is a learning process for Mommy too, everyday is a new gift!
